National Clearing Centre meets the international standard ISO 9001:2008

CJSC JSCB National Clearing Centre (NCC) has acquired the DNV Business Assurance Management System Certificate ISO 9001:2008. The certificate was issued by the International Certification Company "Det Norske Veritas" based on the results of the conducted audit of NCC. The certificate is valid for the clearing services including for the CCP function.

“The acquisition of the Business Assurance Management System Certificate indicates NCC"s striving to improve quality of its services for clients”, said Aleksey Khavin, Chairman of the Executive Board of NCC.  He added that obtaining of such certificate by the company confirms maturity of the NCC"s management system and readiness of its managers for the continuous improvement thereof.     

The audit conducted by "Det Norske Veritas" included interviews with the NCC"s employees and analysis of the company"s internal documentation and regulations.

ISO 9001:2008 is the internationally recognized standard joining together the world"s best practices in the area of production and quality management. The feature of the "Det Norske Veritas" standards is that their requirements are not directly for quality of products and services, but to the management system of business processes that are required to ensure predictable and consistent quality of products and services. 

The International Certification Company "Det Norske Veritas" is one of the most highly regarded international agencies for certifying management systems of companies and enterprises with the certificates recognized globally. Its business scope includes accreditation and admission in various fields of certification, in particular ISO 9001:2008. Certificates issued by the company serve as a trustworthy evidence of the quality management system compliance with international standards.   "Det Norske Veritas" was established in 1864 in Norway. There are more than 70 000 holders of its certificates in the world.

CJSC JSCB National Clearing Centre which is a subsidiary of the Moscow Exchange Group, was founded in October, 2005. The NCC performs functions of a clearing organization and central counterparty for the Moscow Exchange FX and Securities markets. OJSC "Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS" is the Bank's Shareholder (100%).

The NCC is licensed by the Bank of Russia to perform banking operations with financial assets denominated in rubles and foreign currencies. The NCC has the FFMS Certificate of a professional Russian securities market participant that authorizes its clearing service. The Bank's net worth is over RUB13 billion including the Authorized capital of RUB6.170 billion (as of December 01, 2012).
